Overview

A thermo-hygrometer gives you both temperature and relative humidity on one readout, so you can see how the two interact in your chamber. It is the cheapest way to stop guessing: most fruiting problems come down to a number you were never measuring. Digital units with a probe let you read conditions inside the tent without opening it.

Primary stage: Fruiting

Where it fits in the grow

Placed inside the fruiting chamber, ideally at canopy height.

Safety & handling

Cheap humidity sensors drift after a few months of constant saturation. Check yours against a second unit and replace it when the readings diverge.

Practical advice

Measure at the level where the mushrooms actually are. A probe resting on the floor of a tall tent will read several points higher humidity than the fruit bodies below the vents.
