Yield Estimator
Biological efficiency expresses fresh yield as a percentage of dry substrate weight. This estimator combines a species benchmark with your fruiting temperature and humidity to give a low, mid and high projection.
How to use these numbers
Note
The mid estimate is a planning figure, not a promise. Treat the low and high values as the realistic spread for a single block.
Tip
Oyster typically reaches 50–150% BE, shiitake 40–110%, and lion's mane 35–95%. These are ranges across many variables, not targets.
